Fashion Design
I qualified with a BA Hons in Fashion at the University of Westminster. Since then, I have worked for many suppliers and retail companies in both the UK and the USA. I worked in London for Miss Selfridge, and for suppliers to Topshop, River Island and Top Man. Then I relocated to the USA, where I worked as a teen designer and a girlswear designer for Unionbay Sportswear. I covered all areas of design, from trend shopping, to designing ranges, selecting prints and graphics, and following the designs through to production. I then worked for Tommy Bahama as a womenswear designer. I designed the womans line, and helped select prints, create prints, and again,monitor the production. Since relocating back to the UK, I have worked as a trend shopper, fashion illustrator, and graphic designer. I worked for Adams kids as a girlswear graphic designer, and for Joma UK as a sportswear designer. I am able to provide a wide range of design services, from trend shopping, range planning, creation of design boards and graphics/prints. I am also able to provide fashion illustrations.
